Ulpan (ulpan.pionion.com) is a Hebrew-learning application operated by Pionion, currently in a private, invitation-only preview.
Accounts are granted at the operator's discretion and may be suspended or removed at any time. Signing in with Google without an invitation places you on a waitlist; it does not create an account.
The service is for personal language study. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, access other users' data, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Study material is drawn from publicly available videos chosen by the learner and from AI-generated translations and explanations, which may contain errors — the service is a study aid, not an authoritative reference (see Content, copyright and your responsibilities). The service is provided "as is", without warranty, and may change or be discontinued at any time during the preview.
Ulpan hosts no video. Videos play inside YouTube's embedded player, which YouTube makes available only for videos whose uploader has allowed embedding, and they remain under the uploader's control. Ulpan never copies, sells, licenses or redistributes video; a video removed from YouTube disappears from Ulpan.
Ulpan sells no content. Subtitles, translations, word explanations and voice generated for a video are study aids produced for the learner's personal study. They are not offered for download or redistribution, and they may be inaccurate — they are not an authoritative representation of the original work.
Your responsibilities. You choose what to study. You agree to use the service only in ways permitted by YouTube's Terms of Service and by the copyright law that applies to you, and not to use it to reproduce or distribute anyone's work.
Rights holders. If you own rights in a video or its content and believe it is being used in a way you have not permitted, email support@pionion.com with the video link. We will remove the video and every study aid generated for it promptly, and we honour removal requests from uploaders and rights holders without argument.
Every account can study within the free monthly allowances of AI actions. The optional Supporter plan is a monthly subscription that raises those allowances; no feature is exclusive to it. The price is shown at checkout in your currency, including any applicable tax, and is charged monthly in advance until you cancel.
Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record: Paddle sells the subscription to you, handles payment methods, VAT/sales tax and invoices, and its Checkout Buyer Terms apply to the purchase. We never see or store your card details.
Cancel anytime. Open Plan & usage in the app and choose Manage subscription, which takes you to Paddle's customer portal. Cancelling stops future charges; your Supporter allowances continue until the end of the period you have already paid for, then the account returns to the free allowances. Nothing you created — cards, reviews, recordings, progress — is ever removed when a subscription ends.
Refunds. If you are not satisfied, ask within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it in full — no questions asked. Write to support@pionion.com from the email on your account, or use the refund request in Paddle's portal. Refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days. Later charges are refundable at our discretion, for example when the service was unavailable for a significant part of the period. Where consumer law grants you more than this, the law applies.
