The cinematic learning path

  1. Pick a video from the library

Real Israeli YouTube — news, stand-up, sketches, cooking — picked and prepared so every line is studiable. No dumbed-down “learner content”, and the shelf keeps growing.

  2. Tap any word while you watch

Subtitles run karaoke-style with the audio. Tap a word for its meaning, dictionary form, grammar and vowel marks — then save it with one tap. Replay any line slowed down — or say it yourself and get scored word by word.

  3. Review cards before you forget

Saved words come back as flashcards on a spaced-repetition schedule, each carrying the video line it came from.

Why this exists

I’m Andrew — an engineer and the founder of Pionion, where I build AI products. I live in Israel and I’m learning Hebrew myself, and the words I actually meet — in sketches, in the news, in songs — were never in my textbooks. hebrew·study is how I fixed that. It’s open now: start free, and if something gets in your way, write to me — a person reads every message.

Video plays in YouTube's embedded player and stays under its owner's control — we never host, sell or redistribute video. Subtitles, translations and explanations are study aids generated for your own learning.
